Construction is making progress on EnergyConnect’s eastern section between Wagga Wagga and Dinawan substation, near Bundure, NSW.

This vital transmission project will provide access to cleaner, cheaper and more reliable energy supply between states in the national grid.

The project team has been assembling and erecting towers, with specialist crews beginning stringing operations along the 160km line.

This process involves carefully pulling a draw wire on to the towers and guiding the conductor cable into position.
